Hi all,
Ben from Masterworx here....
I suppose I will keep an eye out for any musical flavoured posts in this section, so if you play anything or just want to talk about technical, musical or production stuff, this is the place to do so!!
Hope to see some of you posting soon!
Bye for now...

Hi ltr, Well, it would be very beneficial for you to recieve one on one tuition, but seeing as that's not possible, I can suggest a few things... Firstly, subscribe to one of the drum magazines (such as 'RHYTHM') which a friend of mine Pete Riley, writes for. This helps bring a wealth of understanding about the instrument straight to you, and it will make you more aware of the drum community as a whole. A magazine will also feature technical articles/exercises showing you many helpful playing skills and techniques. Secondly, purchase a few instructional DVD titles...there are literally hundreds, maybe thousands out there, but if you choose the relevant area of tuition that you need then you can learn at home by yourself. If you PM me, I can give you the details of a really good drum store! Hope this has helped! Good luck and hope to hear from you soon! Ben

Loads of music buffs on here I love it!
I used to play cello for 4 years then I gave that up to take on the bass which I looooove and have played for 8 years and now Im away to tackle the heights of the guitar. It may only be 2 more strings but its scary!
So far I've got the following chords under control
G C D E A Am Em
Wish me luck.
